Description

Catalina is an academic at the UC School of Government and Director of Research at the UC Justice and Society Center. She has spent over 20 years conducting research, teaching, and working on public policy in the areas of justice, crime, and social exclusion. She holds a degree in psychology from the University of Valparaíso and a Master’s (Chevening Scholar) and PhD in Criminology from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. She has been a consultant for international organizations such as the IDB, OAS, UNODC, and UNICEF. She is currently the Director of the Millennium Nucleus on Criminal Complexity and a Principal Researcher at Viodemos.
